Our in-house facility with state of the art burning, crushing, and sifting equipment combined with our professionally trained technicians assures you of this. HANDLING PROCESS STEPS

BURNING / ROASTING
Burning is a preliminary process for polishing, dust and sweepings. To properly burn these materials with the most efficiency, the roasting temperature range must be controlled to between 500°F and 900°F. Slow burning guarantees keeping 100% of the ash in pans. Our new large burning ovens can burn up to 250lbs. of polishing sweeps or floor sweeps within 90 minutes. You may represent the Burning / Roasting of your material as well as the below procedures. CRUSHING
​Crushing or pulverization is the second step for materials not ready for the smelter. These materials are crushed in various sized and specially designed crushers. Inside you will find steel munitions and rods to help in the process.
SIFTING
​Sifting is the next step. After crushing, the sweeps are treated to our sifters to remove unwanted coarses. Different size screens are used while the sifter vibrates and forces the fine materials down through gravity. Kristine is our work horse, loud but very efficient.
MIXING / SAMPLING
​To ensure a proper sweeps sample for analysis we use a "V Blender" to mix the "Fines" extracted from our sifter. Once all the steps above are taken, the material is sampled and sent to our laboratory for assaying.

​Note that we even have a mini-blender for those small lots of 5lbs and 10lbs that are also processed.
CHEMICAL BREAKDOWN
​All incoming samples are treated three times to prevent errors.  Most assay houses only duplicate the process and then average their conclusions.  Our extra effort assures you the most accurate results in the industry.
